Emu48 for Android 2.8

This project involves the porting of the Windows application Emu48, originally written in C, to the Android platform using the Android NDK. The conversion process incorporates a thin win32 emulation layer above Linux/NDK, thus keeping the original Emu48 source code by Christoph Giesselink intact.

Thanks to this win32 layer, updates from the original Emu48 source code can be effortlessly integrated. Users can open or save identical state files (state.e48/e49) as those used in the original Windows application.

Within the application, several KML files with corresponding faceplates are embedded. However, users still have the option to open a KML file and its associated dependencies by selecting a folder.

Notably, the application operates without requesting any permissions, utilizing the content:// scheme to access and interact with files or KML folders.

QUICK START

1. Click on the three dots button located at the top left corner (or slide your finger from the left side to open the menu).
2. Select the "New..." menu item.
3. Choose a default calculator or opt for "[Select a Custom KML script folder...]" where you stored the KML scripts and ROM files (note that Android 11 cannot access the Download folder).
4. The selected calculator should now open and be ready for use.

Android version by Régis COSNIER. This program is an adaptation of Emu48 for Windows, originally copyrighted by Christoph Gießelink & Sébastien Carlier. It falls under the GNU General Public License allowing for redistribution and modifications under specific terms defined by the Free Software Foundation.
